Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant

Prepare and post journal entries as part of the monthly close process.

Assist with both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.

Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate cash balances.

Process and reconcile cash receipts.

Prepare accruals and maintain fixed asset schedules.

Assist with month-end close and financial reporting.

Support audits and participate in process improvement initiatives as the company continues to grow.
Preferred Qualifications for the Staff Accountant

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

One or more years of accounting experience or a completed accounting internship.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and reconciliations.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software is a plus.

Organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.

Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Salary: $65k-80k DOE
