Key Responsibilities – Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist
- Process and post tenant, customer, and client payments accurately and timely
- Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances
- Research and resolve billing discrepancies, payment issues, and account questions
- Prepare invoices, account statements, and collection correspondence as needed
- Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate financial records
- Collaborate with property management, accounting, and operations teams to ensure efficient cash flow management
- Assist with month-end closing activities and reporting requirements
- Maintain compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
Qualifications – Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist
- 2+ years of accounts receivable, billing, or collections experience required
- Experience within the real estate, property management, commercial real estate, or related industry preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred
- Knowledge of Yardi, MRI, or similar real estate accounting platforms is a plus
