Key Responsibilities for the Business Analyst:
- Partner with department leaders to develop annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans
- Analyze financial performance, trends, and key performance indicators to support strategic business decisions
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, dashboards, and variance analyses for leadership
- Develop and maintain budgeting models, forecasting tools, and financial reporting templates
- Present financial insights and recommendations to management teams
- Support operational and marketing departments with financial analysis, budget tracking, and invoice processing
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, financial processes, and business workflows
- Assist with system implementations, testing, project planning, and process improvement initiatives
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed
Qualifications for the Business Analyst:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
- 2-3 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, or business analysis
