A manufacturing organization is seeking a Cost Accountant to support cost analysis, inventory accounting, and operational reporting initiatives. This position plays a key role in helping leadership understand costs and improve overall business performance.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze manufacturing costs and inventory transactions
- Prepare cost reports and variance analyses
- Support inventory valuation and reconciliation processes
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Participate in month-end close and financial reporting
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Manufacturing accounting experience strongly preferred
- ERP system experience is beneficial
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Excel skills preferred
