Manager – Corporate Systems

Location: Seymour, On-Site

Compensation: Dependent on experience, up to $150k + bonus

Are you the person people go to when a financial system needs to “just work”? Do you get genuine satisfaction from turning messy data into a clean, reliable report — and from being the calm, credible bridge between Finance and IT?

Our client is looking for a Manager, Corporate Systems to join a publicly traded, multi-billion-dollar international manufacturer with decades of stability and a leadership position in a highly specialized, technical niche of the aerospace, defense, and industrial markets. This is a company whose precision components are engineered into critical systems that simply can’t fail — the kind of mission-critical positioning that translates into long-term contracts, deep customer relationships, and a business that holds up through economic cycles. With dozens of manufacturing facilities across multiple countries and a track record of steady growth (including recent double-digit revenue gains), this is a rare opportunity to join an organization built for the long haul.

This is a high-visibility role for someone who wants to own the systems side of Finance — not just use the tools, but administer them, improve them, and be the go-to expert when something breaks or needs to scale.

What you’ll actually do:

  • Serve as the superuser for corporate financial systems (including CCH Tagetik), owning access controls, configurations, and troubleshooting
  • Partner with Internal Audit on SOX compliance and control improvements
  • Build and automate reporting using Excel and Power BI
  • Reconcile complex, multi-system datasets and turn them into decision-ready insights
  • Translate business needs into functional requirements — then see projects through implementation and training
  • Support system integration work tied to acquisitions

You’ll thrive here if you:

  • Have a Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Know your way around financial close/consolidation, AP/AR, and inventory costing
  • Are an Excel power user who also enjoys the “why” behind the numbers
  • Have exposure to CCH Tagetik (or similar consolidation tools), Power BI, or ERP systems like SAP, Infor M3, or Syteline
  • Like being the translator — equally comfortable in a Finance meeting or an IT ticket

This is a lean, execution-focused environment where initiative is noticed and rewarded — a stable, growing organization that offers real staying power alongside meaningful ownership.
