Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant

  • Prepare monthly financial statements, supporting schedules, and account analyses as the Senior Accountant
  • Support internal and external audit processes, including documentation, testing, and compliance activities, as the Senior Accountant
  • Ensure financial reporting complies with GAAP and corporate accounting policies as the Senior Accountant
  • Review financial data, analyze variances, and provide recommendations to improve reporting accuracy as the Senior Accountant
  • Partner with leadership on process improvements, reporting enhancements, and special projects as the Senior Accountant

Qualifications for the Senior Accountant

  • 5–10 years of progressive accounting experience, including experience in a Senior Accountant capacity
  • Strong audit experience with solid knowledge of GAAP and IFRS requirements
  • Manufacturing, retail, or consumer products experience preferred; bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus
