Overview of the Accountant role:
- Support month-end close and maintain the general ledger
- Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
- Assist with financial statement preparation and bank draws
- Support cost accounting activities and provide audit documentation
- Serve as backup for accounts payable and assist with ad hoc projects as needed
Preferred Qualifications for the Accountant role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2 – 3 years of accounting experience
- Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and basic formulas)
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and eagerness to learn
