Assistant Controller
Salary: $175,000 – $185,000

Key Responsibilities for the Assistant Controller:
• Assist in overseeing and managing the General Ledger department
• Maintain the corporate general ledger and allocation processes for subsidiary facilities
• Review monthly financial reporting packages, consolidations, and account reconciliations
• Support year-end audits, Medicaid audits, sales tax, property tax, and regulatory reporting requirements
• Partner with AP, AR, and Payroll teams to ensure accurate financial transactions and reporting
• Prepare financial and project reporting for for-profit entities, HUD mortgages, and related compliance requirements
• Maintain the corporate general ledger and allocation processes for subsidiary facilities

Qualifications for the Assistant Controller:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
• 10+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience within healthcare, skilled nursing, hospital, home care, or multi-site provider organizations
• Strong proficiency in Workday
• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and HLOOKUPs required
• Strong technical accounting, financial reporting, and general ledger management experience
• CPA and/or MBA preferred
• 10+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience within healthcare, skilled nursing, hospital, home care, or multi-site provider organizations
• Strong proficiency in Workday
