ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
We are partnering with a growing organization in Tigard Oregon to identify a Payroll Specialist to join their team. This is a great opportunity for a payroll professional who enjoys a hands-on role, takes pride in accuracy, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Construction experience is a plus!
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- $70,000–$80,000 salary

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process accurate and timely payroll for employees
- Review timekeeping and payroll data for accuracy
- Maintain employee payroll records and process deductions and adjustments
- Assist with payroll tax filings, reporting, reconciliations, and compliance
- Respond to employee questions regarding payroll and timekeeping
- Research and resolve payroll discrepancies
- Maintain accurate payroll documentation and records
- Partner with HR and accounting on payroll-related matters
- Assist with year-end payroll activities, including W-2s
- Support payroll process improvements and other projects as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of payroll experience
- Strong understanding of payroll processes and compliance
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Construction or prevailing wage experience is a plus
