Senior Accountant – Real Estate Accounting & Operations

This Senior Accountant position is based onsite in Chicago’s River North.
What You’ll Do as Senior Accountant:
• Maintain general ledgers, job costing, CAM and tax reconciliations, and budgets across a diverse portfolio of commercial real estate
• Prepare financial statements, lender reports, and tax schedules to support timely and accurate reporting
• Manage daily cash functions including reconciliations, chargebacks, and cash summaries
• Input and review lease details in Yardi and collaborate with Accounts Receivable and Project Managers
• Oversee hotel joint ventures, utility billings, and annual budgeting for various assets
• Act as a senior accountant resource to the team, contributing to process improvements and special projects
Ideal Background for the Senior Accountant:
• 2–5 years of accounting experience in commercial real estate
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Yardi experience and CPA a plus
