Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant

  • Lead and support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations, as the Senior Accountant
  • Prepare financial reports, analyze results, and investigate variances to ensure accurate and timely reporting as the Senior Accountant
  • Manage balance sheet reconciliations and maintain integrity of general ledger activity as the Senior Accountant
  • Support revenue accounting, cash reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, and audit preparation as the Senior Accountant
  • Partner with leadership on automation initiatives, process improvements, and operational accounting projects as the Senior Accountant

Qualifications for the Senior Accountant

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • 4+ years of progressive accounting experience with strong month-end close and financial reporting exposure
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working within ERP/accounting systems; strong knowledge of GAAP required
