Key Responsibilities for the Controller:

• Lead and oversee the farm accounting team and related financial reporting activities.
• Manage crop cost accounting, inventory tracking, cost accumulation, and farm allocations.
• Review inventory reconciliations and maintain accurate inventory reporting.
• Analyze operational and financial data to identify trends, forecast costs, and explain variances.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning for farm operations.
• Develop reporting tools, ERP queries, dashboards, and analytics to improve business visibility.

Qualifications for the Controller:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of accounting or finance experience within agriculture, manufacturing, or another inventory-intensive industry.
• Strong inventory accounting experience, including valuation, reconciliations, tracking, and financial reporting.
• Experience with cost accounting, cost allocations, and forecasting
