Key Functions

The Controller will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing financial management, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial reporting.

  • Managing the general ledger and ensuring accurate recording of all financial activity.

  • Preparing and analyzing balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and other financial reports.

  • Ensuring compliance with GAAP, DCAA guidelines, and applicable regulations.

  • Performing account reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records.

  • Managing banking relationships and monitoring organizational cash flow.

  • Overseeing payroll processing to ensure accurate and timely payments.

  • Providing financial guidance to the accounting/finance team and promoting best practices.

  • Conducting audits, identifying opportunities for improvement, and strengthening financial controls.

  • Supporting leadership with financial analysis, insights, and strategic planning.

Ideal Background

The successful Controller will be a CPA with approximately 10+ years of accounting experience, including public accounting/audit experience. Strong GAAP knowledge and experience with Delek Vision, QuickBooks, and Yardi are highly desirable.
