Key Responsibilities for the Controller:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting and financial operations
- Manage and review Work-in-Progress (WIP) reporting
- Ensure accurate and timely month-end close processes
- Oversee job costing and project financial reporting
- Lead and develop the accounting team, including payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable functions
- Partner with ownership on financial planning and business performance
Qualifications for the Controller:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of accounting leadership experience
- Construction industry accounting experience required
- CPA strongly preferred
- Experience with ProContractor/Trimble/Viewpoint/Spectrum/Vista accounting software is a requirement
