Assistant Controller

Key Responsibilities for the Assistant Controller:

• Own the cash management process, including weekly 13-week rolling cash forecasts and reporting for leadership and private equity ownership
• Manage the monthly close process, financial reporting package preparation, journal entry approvals, and account reconciliation reviews
• Perform financial analysis including month-over-month, quarterly, trend, indirect expense, and SG&A analysis
• Lead and develop accounting team members, including oversight of the AP Manager and Senior Accountant
• Identify process improvements and strengthen internal controls to support continued growth and acquisitions

Qualifications for the Assistant Controller:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience within industry environments
• Prior leadership experience managing accounting staff
• Strong cash management, financial close, and financial analysis experience
• Experience working in rapidly growing, changing, or acquisition-driven organizations
• Advanced Excel skills including PivotTables and lookup functions
