Senior Accountant
Location: Fitchburg, MA (100% On-Site)
Salary: $95,000 – $105,000
CFS is partnering with a growing organization in the North Central Massachusetts area seeking a Senior Accountant to join its accounting team. This role will be responsible for supporting financial reporting, month-end close, and key accounting functions in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities
- Analyze financial data and investigate variances
- Support inventory accounting and related reporting processes
- Participate in deferred revenue accounting and reconciliations
- Assist with audit preparation and compliance initiatives
- Recommend process improvements and efficiencies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Experience with inventory and deferred revenue accounting
- Strong Excel and ERP system skills
- Excellent analytical and communication abilities
