Staff Accountant
Location: Temple Terrace, Tampa FL
Salary: $60,000 – $75,000

Key Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant:
• Assist with month-end close activities and preparation of supporting schedules
• Prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations
• Support payroll accounting and related financial transactions
• Investigate and resolve account variances and reconciliation discrepancies
• Assist with financial analysis, reporting, and account fluctuation reviews
• Support audit requests and preparation of audit documentation
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company accounting policies
• Contribute to process improvements and accounting department initiatives
Qualifications for the Staff Accountant:
• 1+ years of accounting experience, including general ledger accounting and account reconciliations
• Experience preparing journal entries and supporting month-end close activities
• Exposure to payroll accounting is a plus
• Strong Excel skills, including formulas, reporting, and pivot tables
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
