Senior Financial Analyst
Salary: $105,000 – $120,000
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join our finance team. This role will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, reporting, and providing business insights that support strategic decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, and capable of partnering with leaders across multiple departments to drive financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support business initiatives
- Perform monthly variance analysis and provide actionable recommendations
- Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior leadership
- Analyze trends, KPIs, and operational performance metrics
- Support long-range planning and strategic financial initiatives
- Partner with department leaders to evaluate financial results and identify opportunities for improvement
- Assist with month-end close and management reporting activities
- Conduct ad hoc financial and operational analyses
- Improve reporting processes, dashboards, and financial tools
- Support business cases, capital investments, and profitability analyses
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, corporate finance, or a related function
- Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to effectively present financial data to both financial and non-financial stakeholders
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA, CPA, CMA, or CFA designation preferred
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence tools
- Experience supporting operational leaders and business units
- Strong understanding of financial statements and key business drivers
