Staff Accountant Position Overview
This Staff Accountant will have the opportunity to take on a wide range of accounting responsibilities, gaining exposure to the full accounting cycle while continuing to grow with the organization.

Staff Accountant Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Complete balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
- Assist with financial reporting and account analysis
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Prepare schedules and documentation for audits
- Maintain fixed asset and prepaid expense schedules
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls
- Partner with other departments to research and resolve accounting questions
- Take on additional accounting responsibilities as the company grows
Staff Accountant Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
- 1+ years of accounting experience preferred
- Understanding of general accounting principles and the month-end close process
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
Salary: $65,000–$85,000
