Key Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant
- Prepare and maintain bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, and supporting schedules as the Staff Accountant
- Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end close activities as the Staff Accountant
- Reconcile vendor accounts and support accounts payable analysis as the Staff Accountant
- Review and allocate expenses to appropriate general ledger accounts while maintaining an accurate chart of accounts as the Staff Accountant
- Assist with financial reporting, account analysis, and process improvement initiatives as the Staff Accountant
Qualifications for the Staff Accountant
- 2+ years of accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus
- Intermediate Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn, ask questions, and take initiative
