Key Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant

• Perform bank reconciliations, cash reconciliations, and maintain accurate financial records across multiple entities as the Staff Accountant
• Process cash receipts, journal entries, accounts payable transactions, and support accounts receivable functions as the Staff Accountant
• Assist with semi-monthly payroll processing for approximately 70–80 employees, including payroll review and workers’ compensation support as the Staff Accountant
• Import, verify, and reconcile POS system data to ensure accurate financial reporting as the Staff Accountant
• Support month-end close processes while progressing through a structured training program focused on expanding accounting responsibilities as the Staff Accountant

Qualifications for the Staff Accountant

• 2+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or transactional accounting experience
• Experience with reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, or cash management
• Strong Excel skills and the ability to work effectively in a multi-entity accounting environment
