About the Opportunity – Accounts Payable Coordinator
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Coordinator to join their growing manufacturing team in Rutherford County. This position plays a critical role in ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing, vendor payments, and account reconciliations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong accounts payable expertise, and manufacturing industry experience.
Key Responsibilities – Accounts Payable Coordinator
- Process a high volume of vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
- Perform three-way matching of purchase orders, receiving documentation, and invoices
- Review, verify, and code invoices for payment processing
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries
- Maintain accurate vendor records and accounts payable documentation
- Assist with month-end closing activities and account reconciliations
- Prepare and process weekly payment runs in accordance with company policies
- Utilize Excel to analyze accounts payable data, generate reports, and support financial tracking
- Collaborate with purchasing, receiving, and accounting teams to ensure accuracy and compliance
Qualifications – Accounts Payable Coordinator
- Minimum of 3 years of Accounts Payable experience required
- Prior manufacturing industry experience required
- Proven experience with three-way matching of invoices required
- Experience processing high volumes of invoices
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables required
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and collaborative abilities
- Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred
- Experience with ERP systems and automated AP processes is a plus
