Key Responsibilities for the Strategic Business Development Lead:
- Identify, research, and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, markets, and service offerings
• Develop business cases, service models, workflows, implementation plans, and growth strategies
• Lead cross-functional projects from opportunity approval through operational readiness
• Oversee the implementation and refinement of new services, processes, and supporting systems
• Build relationships with prospective clients, partners, and industry stakeholders
• Manage, coach, and develop Business Development team members while driving performance and accountability
Qualifications for the Strategic Business Development Lead:
- Bachelor’s degree required
• 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, account management, contract management, or a related field
• 2+ years of leadership experience managing employees, projects, or cross-functional initiatives
• Experience evaluating new markets, partnerships, clients, or business opportunities
• Experience developing implementation plans, scalable processes, and operational workflows
• Experience negotiating and managing contracts, scopes of work, pricing, and business agreements
