Key Responsibilities of the Senior Payroll Specialist:
- Process accurate and timely payroll for multiple states, including union and prevailing wage employees.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
- Manage payroll tax filings, reconciliations, and audits.
- Partner with HR and finance teams to resolve payroll discrepancies.
- Maintain payroll records and support internal and external audits.
- Continuously review and improve payroll processes for efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of payroll experience, including multi-state and union/prevailing wage payroll.
