Key Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant:
- Maintain general ledger integrity through accurate journal entries and account analysis.
- Lead reconciliations and variance analyses to ensure financial accuracy.
- Staff Accountant will support timely month-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare financial reports and assist with statement preparation.
- Oversee key balance sheet accounts, including cash, fixed assets, accruals, and prepaids.
- Partner with auditors and contribute to process and control enhancements.
Qualifications for the Staff Accountant:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- 2+ years of accounting experience in corporate or public accounting environments.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Experience with ERP systems and accounting software.
- Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables and XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP functions.
- CPA designation or active pursuit of CPA licensure preferred.
