Accounting Manager, Housing & Real Estate
Salary: $110,000 – $125,000

Key Responsibilities for the Accounting Manager, Housing & Real Estate:

• Manage audits, tax filings, lender reporting, and regulatory compliance requirements
• Support financial analysis related to development projects, acquisitions, refinancing, and portfolio investments
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, reserve monitoring, and portfolio performance reporting
• Serve as the primary financial contact for third-party property management companies and external stakeholders
• Supervise finance staff while implementing process improvements and strengthening internal controls
• Manage audits, tax filings, lender reporting, and regulatory compliance requirements
• Support financial analysis related to development projects, acquisitions, refinancing, and portfolio investments

Qualifications for the Accounting Manager, Housing & Real Estate:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Progressive accounting or finance experience with prior leadership responsibilities
• Strong background in multi-entity accounting, consolidations, financial reporting, audits, and GAAP compliance
• Experience with affordable housing, LIHTC, LPs, LLCs, joint ventures, or nonprofit real estate organizations highly preferred
• Proven experience managing regulatory compliance and external reporting requirements
• Progressive accounting or finance experience with prior leadership responsibilities
• Strong background in multi-entity accounting, consolidations, financial reporting, audits, and GAAP compliance
