A respected, mission-driven organization is seeking a Senior Finance Director to provide strategic financial leadership across the organization. This is an opportunity to serve as the senior finance leader while partnering closely with executive leadership and the Board on financial strategy, planning, performance, and long-term organizational priorities.

The Senior Finance Director will oversee a broad financial function spanning FP&A, budgeting, reporting, treasury, compliance, and strategic planning, while leading and developing an established finance and accounting team.

What You’ll Lead

As Senior Finance Director, your responsibilities will include:

  • Direct the organization’s annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes

  • Develop and deliver financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for the Board

  • Oversee accounting operations, financial audits, compliance requirements, and internal controls

  • Manage organizational cash flow, banking relationships, and investment activities

  • Partner with department leaders to strengthen financial performance, accountability, and decision-making

  • Serve as a strategic financial advisor to executive leadership

  • Lead, coach, and mentor members of the finance and accounting team

  • Provide financial insight and analysis to support organizational strategy and long-term planning

What We’re Looking For

Qualified candidates will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

  • CPA strongly preferred; MBA is a plus

  • 5+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience

  • Experience overseeing $30M+ budgets, with nonprofit experience strongly preferred

  • Strong background in FP&A, budgeting, and financial reporting
