WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING AS THE ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE SPECIALIST ROLE

Maintain customer account ledgers and ensure accurate posting of AR transactions

Process and apply customer payments, including cash, checks, and credit cards

The AR Specialist will reconcile account activity and resolve discrepancies as needed

Prepare daily bank deposits and maintain supporting documentation

The AR Specialist will generate AR reports, including collections tracking and account updates

Support collections efforts and follow up on outstanding balances

The AR Specialist will assist with additional accounting tasks and special projects as needed
QUALIFICATIONS OF THE ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE SPECIALIST ROLE

3+ years of accounts receivable experience

Strong Microsoft Excel and Office Suite skills

Experience with accounting systems; Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics/Business Central preferred

Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy and confidentiality

Ability to work independently within a structured environment
