SENIOR COST ACCOUNTANT

Target Compensation: $95,000 – $110,000
Key Responsibilities for the Senior Cost Accountant:
- Manage and analyze standard costs, BOMs, routings, product costing, and manufacturing cost structures
- Analyze material, labor, overhead, scrap, yield, and production variances to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Oversee inventory valuation, reserves, reconciliations, cycle counts, and physical inventory processes
- Support month-end close, forecasting, budgeting, profitability analysis, and operational financial reporting
- Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Finance on cost savings, productivity initiatives, and business decisions
Qualifications for the Senior Cost Accountant:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of standard costing, inventory accounting, manufacturing variances, and financial controls
- Manufacturing ERP experience, with SAP and SAP S/4HANA strongly preferred; intermediate to advanced Excel skills
