About the Opportunity
CFS is partnering with a well-established and growing organization seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Analyst to join its accounting and finance team. This role is ideal for a payroll professional who enjoys working with data, ensuring payroll accuracy, analyzing payroll trends, and collaborating across HR, accounting, and operations. You’ll play a key role in maintaining compliance, improving payroll processes, and supporting reporting initiatives.

Responsibilities
- Process weekly payroll for production staff and bi-weekly payroll for salaried, exempt, hourly, and commission employees
- Reconcile payroll accounts, investigate discrepancies, and support payroll-related general ledger accounting activities
- Prepare payroll reports, labor cost analyses, and workforce data for management review
- Assist with FSA and HSA reporting and related payroll administration activities.
- Review employee earnings, deductions, union, garnishments, benefits, and tax withholdings for accuracy
- Assist with special projects.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of payroll experience, including payroll analysis, payroll processing, and account reconciliations
- Strong proficiency in Excel and experience working within payroll, HRIS, or ERP systems
- Knowledge of payroll tax regulations, wage and hour compliance, and general accounting principles
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive data.
