Key Responsibilities for the Accounting Lead:
- Prepare, review, and approve journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Lead monthly closes, allocations, and cost analyses.
- Coordinate the annual budgeting process and support quarterly and ad hoc forecasts.
- Prepare and review financial reports for management and external stakeholders.
- Analyze financial results, trends, and variances to support business decisions.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of 1–3 accounting professionals.
Qualifications for the Accounting Lead:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
- Experience with journal entries, reconciliations, financial reporting, or analysis.
