Key Responsibilities for the Senior Accountant:
- Prepare and post journal entries.
- Manage and maintain fixed asset accounting records.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate variances.
- Assist with financial reporting and account analysis.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance of accounting transactions.
Qualifications for the Senior Accountant:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
- Strong accounting foundation and understanding of GAAP.
- Experience preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Fixed assets accounting experience required.
- Background in agriculture and/or manufacturing environments preferred.
- Progressive accounting experience in a corporate setting.
