Accountant

Key Responsibilities of the Accountant:

  • Process full-cycle, in-house payroll for approximately 100 employees.
  • Prepare and process payroll taxes and ensure timely compliance with applicable requirements.
  • Manage accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, collections, and account maintenance.
  • Prepare and manage progressive billing based on project and contractual requirements.
  • Utilize governmental portals to submit required information and complete applicable accounting-related processes.
  • Process and record cash receipts and ensure payments are accurately applied to customer accounts.
  • Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations, researching and resolving discrepancies.
  • Assist with month-end close and other general accounting activities as needed.

Qualifications of the Accountant:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • 2–3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Hands-on experience processing full-cycle payroll and payroll taxes required.
  • Experience with Infor/Syteline or a similar ERP system preferred.
