Key Responsibilities for the Accountant:
• Manage financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Prepare financial reports, budgets, and account reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with nonprofit accounting regulations and best practices
• Assist with audits, tax filings, and grant reporting
• Collaborate with leadership to support informed financial decision-making
• Maintain accurate and organized financial documentation
Qualifications for the Accountant:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Accounting experience required; nonprofit experience is a plus
• Working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
