Accountant – Manassas, VA
A growing construction company is seeking an Accountant to support the accounting and financial reporting for multiple affiliated companies. This is a hands on role offering broad exposure to financial reporting, equipment accounting, AP, AR, billing and project based operations. The ideal Accountant will have strong accounting foundation, construction or project-based industry experience and a desire to grow within a dynamic, expanding organization.
Salary – $80-$95k

Key Responsibilities for the Accountant
- Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules for multiple entities
- Perform account reconciliations and month end close activities
- Support equipment accounting and fixed asset reporting
- Work closely with operations personnel and managers to gather and interpret financial information
Qualifications for the Accountant
- Bachelor’s in Accounting
- 3-5+ years of accounting experience
- Experience in construction, homebuilding, contracting or another project based industry
- Strong Excel skills
