Key Responsibilities for the Accountant:
• Own general ledger activities, including journal entries and account maintenance.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Prepare accurate financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes across multiple locations.
• Assist with cash flow reporting, treasury activities, and inventory accounting.
• Analyze balance sheet and income statement fluctuations and provide meaningful explanations.
• Support audit requests, documentation preparation, and compliance initiatives.
• Partner with operational teams to ensure accurate financial reporting across locations.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Prepare accurate financial statements and supporting schedules.

Qualifications for the Accountant:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience in general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and month-end close processes.
• Experience preparing balance sheet reconciliations and financial statements.
• Ability to work effectively in a multi-location business environment.
• Previous experience in retail, distribution, manufacturing, or similar industries is a plus.
• Proven experience in general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and month-end close processes.
• Experience preparing balance sheet reconciliations and financial statements.
• Ability to work effectively in a multi-location business environment.
• Previous experience in retail, distribution, manufacturing, or similar industries is a plus.
