Accountant Responsibilities

• Process approximately 200–300 AP invoices weekly for multiple entities

• The Accountant will perform three-way matching and ensure invoice accuracy

• Assist with weekly check runs and payment processing

• The Accountant will complete account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies

• Support job costing and ensure costs are accurately recorded and allocated

• Maintain accurate accounting records and assist with day-to-day accounting operations

• The Accountant will support the accounting team with month-end activities and other accounting tasks as needed

Qualifications of the Accountant Role

• Previous accounts payable experience required

• Accounting experience beyond AP is preferred

• Experience processing a high volume of invoices

• Job costing experience preferred, ideally within the construction or contracting industry

• Experience with Sage 300 preferred

• Familiarity with three-way matching and multiple-entity accounting

• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively as part of a team
