What You’ll Be Doing:
As the Accountant, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of their financial operations. You’ll be responsible for core accounting functions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial reporting, compliance, and business performance.
Key Responsibilities of the Accountant:
- Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Ensure accurate general ledger coding for all transactions
- Prepare and post journal entries as part of monthly close process
- Manage month-end close procedures and reporting
- Export expense data from Concur and import into Sage Intacct
- Additional accounting duties as assigned by the Controller
Preferred Qualifications of the Accountant:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Senior Accountant role
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables and VLOOKUPs
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical ability
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to collaborate across teams
- Comfortable in a dynamic, bustling construction or industrial environment
