A growing and well-established real estate investment and property management organization is seeking an Accounting Manager / Controller to join its leadership team. What You’ll Do
- Oversee full-cycle accounting for a multifamily real estate portfolio
- Manage month-end close, bank reconciliations, cash management, and AP processes
- Prepare and review financial reporting packages
- Support investor and ownership reporting requirements
- Assist with cash flow management and forecasting activities
- Maintain accurate general ledger and accounting records
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation
- Partner closely with the CFO on strategic and operational initiatives
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience with full-cycle accounting and financial reporting
- Multifamily property accounting experience strongly preferred
- Commercial real estate accounting experience will also be considered
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Experience with Yardi or similar property management/accounting software is highly desirable
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving environment
- Hands-on mentality with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and wear multiple hats
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $85,000–$95,000
