Accounting Manager

Key Responsibilities for the Accounting Manager:

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including AP, AR, cash management, and general ledger activities.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and budget variance analyses.
• Manage grant tracking, restricted funds, and financial reporting for donors and funding agencies.
• Lead annual budgeting and assist with audit and Form 990 preparation.
• Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Mentor and develop accounting staff while supporting cross-functional financial initiatives.

Qualifications for the Accounting Manager:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4+ years of accounting experience
• Knowledge of nonprofit GAAP, fund accounting, and grant compliance preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
