Salary: $110,000–$130,000

Key Responsibilities for the Accounting Manager
- Lead day-to-day accounting operations and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting
- Manage cost accounting activities, including standard costing, inventory analysis, variance reporting, and profitability analysis
- Oversee inventory accounting, reconciliations, controls, and month-end reporting
- Direct the monthly and annual close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
- Partner with operational and executive leadership to provide actionable financial insights and support business decisions
- Play a key role in the implementation and optimization of a new ERP system
- Evaluate and enhance accounting procedures, internal controls, and reporting processes
- Coach, mentor, and develop accounting staff while fostering a collaborative team environment
Qualifications for the Accounting Manager
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including significant manufacturing experience
- Strong background in cost accounting, inventory management, and financial analysis
- Experience supporting or leading ERP system implementations
- Thorough understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and manufacturing accounting practices
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to develop and mentor team members
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
