Accounting Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Oversee GL, reconciliations, and financial reporting
  • Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Manage and mentor accounting staff (or be positioned to step into leadership)
  • Strengthen internal controls and process improvements
  • Support audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Public accounting background is a plus (not required)
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
  • Desire and capability to grow into a leadership role (Controller/Director track)
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to improve processes and drive efficiency

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $100,000 – $120,000
  • Bonus: Performance-based
  • Equity: Employee Ownership Plan (ESOP)
