Accounting Manager
Salary: $110,000–$130,000
Location: Hybrid (3 days onsite in Newark, NJ)

Key Responsibilities of Accounting Manager
• Oversee daily accounting operations, including AP and AR functions
• Manage month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, and fixed assets
• Lead revenue recognition for grants, contributions, pledges, and deferred revenue
• Support cash forecasting and liquidity planning
• Drive process improvements, automation projects, and reporting enhancements
• Partner with IT and external vendors on NetSuite optimization and system integrations
Qualifications of Accounting Manager
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5–7+ years of progressive accounting experience with significant nonprofit accounting exposure
• Strong NetSuite experience required
• Experience with accounting systems integrations and process improvement initiatives
• Prior leadership or supervision of AP/AR functions preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP and nonprofit revenue recognition principles
