Key Responsibilities for the Manager, Accounting:
- Lead month-end close activities, including inventory reserves, accruals, and reporting
- Oversee inventory accounting, standard costing, and variance analysis
- Partner with manufacturing plants to resolve costing, inventory, and margin issues
- Review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting accuracy
- Support audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
- Mentor and develop a team of accounting professionals
Qualifications for the Manager, Accounting:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including 2+ in manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of inventory accounting, GL, and costing processes
- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, Hyperion, or OneStream preferred)
