Responsibilities for the Accounting Manager:
- Lead the day-to-day accounting operations and drive continuous process improvements
- Manage the monthly and year-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
- Assist with quarterly budgeting and forecasting activities
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting functions
- Monitor revenue, expenses, and overall financial performance
- Coordinate audits and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
- Identify operational efficiencies and implement process improvements
- Coach, mentor, and develop the accounting team by establishing performance goals and supporting professional growth
Preferred Qualifications for the Accounting Manager:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
- 2+ years of accounting leadership or management experience
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, month-end close, budgeting, and internal controls
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing organization
