Key Responsibilities for the Accounting & Payroll Specialist:
- Manage weekly and bi‑weekly payroll processing for both hourly and salaried employees.
- Assist with payroll audits and support onboarding of new employees.
- Handle accounts payable, including job‑costing across multiple divisions and performing both 2‑way and 3‑way matching.
- Process inventory‑related payables: match materials to the correct job, ensure proper PO alignment, and manage returns to inventory.
- Complete quarterly reconciliations and maintain accurate job, material, and AP records.
Qualifications for the Accounting & Payroll Specialist:
- Experience in construction accounting or environments with job‑costing.
- Familiarity with construction software platforms.
- Minimum of 2+ years of AP, payroll, or job‑costing experience.
- Detail‑oriented, dependable communicator who takes ownership of their work.
- Comfortable in a relaxed, steady‑paced office setting.
