Salary Range: $54,080–$72,800 DOE

Our client is seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to support core accounting operations with a primary emphasis on Accounts Receivable. The Accounting Specialist will work in a high‑volume environment involving multiple revenue streams, online marketplaces, and vendor relationships. This hybrid Accounting Specialist role requires strong accuracy, comfort with technology, and proactive communication.

Responsibilities for the Accounting Specialist:
- Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable activities, including posting payments, applying cash, and entering invoices for product and freight
- Extract, reconcile, and report financial data across multiple e‑commerce portals and revenue streams.
- Accurately source, select, and manage vendors with precise GL coding using bill.com and load‑tracking software
- Communicate with customers, wholesale partners, and vendors regarding AR/AP inquiries, including bulk, wholesale, and pulp transactions
- Maintain strong data integrity through reconciliations, organized documentation, and timely verbal and written follow‑ups
Qualifications for the Accounting Specialist:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable experience (AR emphasized; exposure to both strongly preferred)
- Prior hybrid or remote work experience
- High attention to detail, particularly with payments, vendor selection, and GL coding
- Tech‑savvy with experience using accounting systems and online portals; bill.com experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
