Overview of the Accounting Supervisor role:
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
- Manage and support month-end and year-end close processes
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Participate in tax audits and payroll activities
- Monitor daily performance and workflow of the accounting department
- Ensure financial data is accurate, organized, and maintained in compliance with company policies
- Track progress toward financial and accounting goals
- Establish and maintain accounting policies and procedures aligned with company objectives
Preferred Qualifications for the Accounting Supervisor:
- 2+ years of accounting or supervisory experience
- Strong understanding of general accounting principles
- Ability to work collaboratively while leading day-to-day operations
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
