Accounting Supervisor / Accounting Manager

Salary: $75,000 – $90,000
Location: Nashville, TN
Schedule: On-Site

The Opportunity

We’re working with a growing Nashville organization that is looking for an Accounting Supervisor / Accounting Manager to join its team.

This could be a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Accountant or Accounting Supervisor who is ready to take the next step into leadership, or for an Accounting Manager who enjoys staying hands-on with the day-to-day accounting work.

You’ll work closely with senior leadership, support and oversee a small accounting team, and have the opportunity to improve processes, create efficiencies, and make a visible impact as the organization continues to grow.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead, support, and develop a small accounting team

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting activities and financial processes

  • Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations

  • Support month-end close and financial reporting

  • Assist with payroll and other accounting-related functions

  • Manage vendor payments and related accounting activity

  • Help maintain accurate and timely financial records

  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency

  • Strengthen internal controls and accounting procedures

  • Partner with leadership on reporting, analysis, and operational needs

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

  • Strong general accounting experience, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting

  • Experience leading, mentoring, training, or supervising others

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills

  • Someone who is comfortable taking ownership and working in a hands-on environment

Nice to Have

  • Experience with payroll

  • Experience in inventory, distribution, manufacturing, or a multi-location organization

  • Previous Accounting Supervisor or Accounting Manager experience
