Key Responsibilities for the Accounts Payable Coordinator:

  • Process vendor invoices by reviewing, coding, and entering them into the accounting system.
  • Assist with tracking invoice approvals and preparing payments.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and help resolve invoice discrepancies.
  • Support payment processing, including checks, ACH transactions, and corporate credit card reconciliations.
  • Maintain organized accounts payable records and documentation.
  • Assist with purchase order matching and receiving document review.
  • Provide support for month-end and year-end accounting activities, audits, and 1099 preparation.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate invoice processing.

Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Coordinator:

  • 1+ year of accounts payable, accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative experience preferred.
  • Associate degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
  • Basic to intermediate Excel skills and comfort learning new accounting software.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills and willingness to learn in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
